Plan portraits around the light.
Portraits in hard afternoon sun will feel different from photographs made in softer evening light. I look at the season, the direction of the venue and the distance between locations before suggesting a time.
Two short portrait sessions often work better than one long one. A few minutes after the ceremony and another ten to fifteen minutes near sunset add variety without taking you away from your guests for long.

Leave room for travel and small delays.
We review travel, the ceremony, congratulations, group photographs, dinner and the evening programme. Small buffers between them keep one delay from turning into pressure for everyone.
I explain how each option affects the photographs and you choose according to your priorities. The goal is a schedule that works for you, your guests and the light available at the venue.
